Absolutely Beautiful Things

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I like to go on (and on) about surrounding yourself with beauty. It’s very good for the vibration, my dear!
I’ve been following the blog of Brisbane-based interior designer Anna Spiro for a few years now – her blog is so uplifting, and beautiful. I go there for a hit of beauty, whenever I feel in need of a boost.
This week, Anna launched her very own online store! You can purchase all sort of lovely things for your home through the site, and there will be changes every season. Right now, there’s a winter (for Australia) selection available. I have my eye on the sumptuous silver boxes…
If you’d like to browse the store, simply head here.
Ah, here’s to beauty!
Gratitude Friday – 29 July 2011

It’s Friday! Yaaaay! A wonderful weekend stretches out ahead, and, as a bonus, the weather is looking great!
Here are five things for which I’m grateful this week:
- Finding that the Ballarat Health Foods shop now stocks Loving Earth products – no longer need I schlep to Melbourne to purchase their goodies!
- Meeting some truly lovely people at a business women’s breakfast.
- A sweet bank officer letting us go in to the bank to deposit a cheque, even though we arrived five minutes after closing time! What great customer service.
- Hosting an inspiring teleseminar with personal trainer Mel Studzinski of BodyConnect.
- Ending the week with lots of giggles and laughs around the dinner table (and then topping it off with giggles at Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes).
I feel as though I have a truly blessed life – do you let yourself feel this way, too? You’re more than welcome to list some of YOUR gratefuls in the comments section below.

If you’ve signed up to receive my sumptuous, 22-page, gift-of-love e-booklet called 7 Ways to Recharge Your Vibration & Attract the Riches of Life, you’ll know that I list exercise as one of the ‘ways’ to boost your vibration (big time, baby!).
So I’m delighted to be interviewing personal trainer Mel Studzinski today – Mel will be giving us the lowdown on how to ease back into exercise, and how to make it a really enjoyable habit.

Spotting Beauty

I spotted this beautiful, dew-laced spider’s web the other morning, and grabbed my camera!
Isn’t it just gorgeous? There were a few other similar webs around – the spiders must have been pretty busy through the night.
My girls and I were so excited when we saw this. We’re always exclaiming when we see breathtaking cloud formations, or brilliant rainbows, or unusual bark on a tree. Savouring the beauty given to us by Mother Nature is so important, and it just feels so good.
I was just saying this morning that I should keep my camera in the car, because I’d love to record more of the beauty we see as we go about our day. But then, I’d need to take one with me on every walk we undertake, too!
My girls wondered when the technology will come about that will allow us to ‘take a photo’ of a beautiful image in our heads, without even needing cameras. Can you imagine?
For now, I will just continue to appreciate each beautiful gift of nature ‘in the moment’, and if I happen to have my camera handy, then I can share the beauty with you, too.
I’m so grateful that I’m aware of seeing the world in this way.
I’d love for you to send me any photos of yours that capture beauty, or the things that you appreciate. Just email them to info@richradiantreal.com and I’ll pop them on the blog to share with the world…
Gratitude Friday – 22 July 2011

Another golden week has come and gone, and there was so much to appreciate in each and every day.
Here are just five of my favourites:
- Being taken on a fascinating tour of the beautiful Her Majesty’s Theatre (pictured above) here in Ballarat, and meeting some really lovely fellow new residents.
- Evie feeling well enough to go back to school, and soon returning to her crazy, full-of-energy self!
- My car receiving tender loving care with a major service, and having use of a fun hybrid courtesy car for the day.
- So many people taking advantage of my three-day, mid-year sale on the spectacular Your House of Abundance guided visualisation program.
- Sparkling sunshine on Friday, after a week of contrast (read: rain and wind!).
Onto another love-filled week on this beautiful planet of ours. Feel free to share your ‘gratefuls’ in the comments below, won’t you?
Success Tip: ‘BP’

Now, I’ve got you intrigued with that title, haven’t I?
I don’t know about you, but one of my challenges in this life has been NOT letting my thoughts carry me off far into the future. I’m a plotter and planner by nature, and love to think about things, twirling ideas around in my head like a ribbon gymnast.
But that’s no way to live. At least, not all the time.
In my quest to live in the present more often, to really appreciate the present moment (especially when I’m with my children), I recently created the following memory-jogger: ‘BP’.
Quite simply, it means ‘Be Present’.
Whenever I catch myself drifting off in thought when I want to connect with people or situations, I think, ‘BP!’. And then I’m instantly back in the present, thankful that I stopped that inappropriately timed thought from taking hold and denying me the richness of savouring a beautiful present moment.
I find that I’m now starting to live in the present more often, without even needing to call the ’BP’ helper into being.
Try it?
Becoming the Powerful Pilot of Your Life

Last week, I watched a fascinating documentary on the ABC TV channel here in Australia.
It was called The Young Ones – it’s a BBC TV documentary. I think we were watching the final episode?
Anyway, I found it absolutely fascinating. It looked at ageing, and how we can stop ourselves falling into the usual patterns of behaviour that often come with it.
It showed that our attitude and belief in ourselves plays a HUGE part in what we can actually do!
‘Yeah, yeah,’ I hear you saying, ‘we all know that’. Well, yes, we do know it intellectually, but do we really apply it?
There were heaps of fascinating studies in this documentary, but one interesting test that really stood out for me was when they took a group of people and gave them an eye test (without telling them why they were testing them). Then, they dressed them as pilots and told them that they were now pilots – and then each ‘piloted’ a plane via a flight simulator.
The participants were given the eye tests again, and in nearly all cases, they recorded markedly better results in the second eye test. The researchers concluded that the participants ‘saw’ themselves differently when they were pilots; that is, they had more belief in themselves because they’d taken on the persona of a pilot and had succeeded in ‘being’ a pilot.
That reaffirmed for me just how important self-belief really is. If we think we can do something, we stand a fantastic chance of really doing it! If we think we can’t , then, of course, we can’t.
Has this caused a mindshift or ‘a-ha’ moment for you? What would happen if you saw yourself as absolutely able to do something that you’re a bit (or a lot) afraid of doing? Has there been something you’ve been thinking about doing, but keep putting off because, deep down, you don’t think you could pull it off?
This documentary has opened the door for me, revealing a few areas in which I now realise I’ve been holding myself back (and here I was thinking I had everything ‘handled’). What a gift to have seen this show!
The power of our beliefs is truly incredible – they create the vibration that we emit, and they start the creation process in the universal field.
So why not decide that you really are capable, despite any past evidence to the contrary? Do you feel that swell of courage, conviction and exhilaration rising in your chest?
The sky (and your self-belief) really is the limit, my friend. Are you ready to take the controls, to fly your own life’s plane?
Wahooooooo!
Gratitude Friday – 15 July 2011

Oh my word, this week has been one of those ‘doozies’!
One of my little girls (Evangeline) has been quite ill this week, so all our school-holiday plans flew out the window while we helped her to get better. Not the best holiday for her!
As usual, I looked for the blessings that were to be found in those difficult times:
- Having wonderful, caring staff looking after Evie at Ballarat Base Hospital.
- Managing to get a few hours’ sleep in the noisy children’s ward when we stayed there for a night.
- Getting to attend a live webinar that I would have missed, had we gone to Melbourne.
- Getting to spend some really lovely one-on-one time with Arabella, when Evie was sleeping during the day.
- Seeing a fabulous, life-affirming show on the ABC channel (I’ll be writing a blog about this!).
I’m also so very grateful that the paediatrician was able to work out what illness Evie had, and I’m also so very, very grateful that she is now on the road to recovery. She tells me she’s at 90%!
There’s nothing like a dose of illness to make you truly, truly appreciate your health, and the health of your loved ones. Thanks for the reminder, Universe!
Reveal Your Naked Beauty for Good Vibrations!

I have a passion for personal development, and I usually have several books on the go at once (see this post for pic of just a few books that have appeared on my bedside table in recent times).
I just HAVE to tell you about this one – it’s a life-changer. The luscious e-book called Naked Beauty, by Shakaya Leone of Earth Empress, is an absolute gem.
Shakaya was my special teleseminar guest last month, and on the call we spoke about this book, and a program she’s created called The Beauty Cleanse.
We spoke about how important it is to look after yourself; in fact, to treat yourself as an empress. Doing so not only honours the Source that created you, but it FEELS GOOD, and while the latter is good enough reason on its own, the act of feeling good helps you attract the good things of life! The law of attraction responds to high-vibrational beings.
There are heaps of mindset approaches you can take to attract whatever it is that you want, but if your physical being isn’t honoured, you won’t attract as easily, and you won’t enjoy it as much anyway! Can you imagine really enjoying the riches of life if you’re feeling sick, tired, run-down, ugly, overwhelmed and run dry? What would be the point?
I can’t stop flicking through this book (I printed it out and put in a binder). The design is beautiful, the words speak to your soul, and the advice – if you apply it – really works! Shakaya speaks of really loving and honouring our body-temples and our souls, and includes heaps of natural beauty recipes that you can make at home – I love the Aphrodite Opal Emulsion (a beautiful moisturiser for cold weather) and the Priestess Peppermint Foot Treatment. Don’t you just love the delicious-sounding names?
Listen fellow Sistar, do yourself a huge favour and invest in Shakaya’s book. It’s only US$29.98 and is available for instant download, so you can start applying its heartfelt and transformational wisdom straight away. Are you ready for that? (In other words, are you ready to say ’yes’ to life?)
Click here to invest in yourself.
PS I’m an affiliate of Shakaya’s, so if you purchase her exceptional Naked Beauty e-book, I will receive a commission – but I only ever recommend products and services that I truly believe in, so you can be assured that the quality of this product is, quite simply, top-notch!
Your Emotions Create Your Life
This video is sure to start your week with a bang!
I first watched it a couple of months ago, at Sandy Forster’s Melbourne ‘Secrets to Prosperity & Success’ event, and it blew my mind!
It shows Gregg Braden (one of my favourite people) explaining the very real power of emotions. Watch as three doctors at a medicine-less hospital (yes, you read that right) in China cure a lady’s cancer tumour in three minutes, all by focusing their energy on her and imagining her as already healed. Watch the tumour shrink before your eyes.
If you don’t think that you have the power to change your world, think again. Focusing your energy regularly on a positive, desired outcome, and expecting that it will eventuate, is all that you need.
But if you’re having trouble getting your mindset to that point, and you don’t know what to do, then email me at joanne@richradiantreal.com and we’ll schedule a free, 30-minute discovery session. Every ‘problem’ has a solution, and sometimes all it takes is a shift in perspective and the use of the best tools.
PS Gregg is such a compelling speaker, and is so passionate about this subject – his enthusiasm is intense, and contagious. For a great interview with Gregg, see the bonus features on the Louise Hay DVD called You Can Heal Your Life, the movie, expanded version.
Joanne's coaching was exactly what I needed to help me focus my precious time and money on finding work and making money! What I like most about Joanne’s coaching is that it's gentle, supportive and empathetic, rather than pushy and 'ra-ra-ra'”
...if there’s something that you’ve been putting off doing, because it’s so big and overwhelming, then by coaching with Joanne you'll definitely find a way to do it, to finally reach your goal.”
